What can you expect to see here on 80s-Cars.com? Here’s an overview:
Cars where production occurred in the 1980s. If production started in the 70s and ended in the 80s, we’ll include the 70s. If production started in the 80s and ran into the 90s, the entirety of that generation may be seen here, too. For example, GM’s G-Body platform began production in 1978 and ran for ten years. We won’t exclude 78 and 79 G-bodies. Likewise, BMW’s E34 5-series started in 1988 and ended in 1995, we’re not going to split hairs on those, either.
Vehicle modification trends of the 1980s. This could be hot rods, muscle cars, or what would have then been late-model cars modded at the time. Whatever a car enthusiast would have installed in the 1980s to make the car go faster or look cooler.
Cars of the era showing their modern potential. Updated running gear, slick new paint, restomods showing that cars from the 80s can go fast and look good.
We’ll hunt down magazine ads & articles, ask for your pictures from back in the day, link to commercials shown in the 80s…We hope to show a little bit, or a lot, of everything relevant to the car scene then and the fans of the cars now.
